AZTEX from Valencia
1- Hello AZTEX, hope you doing good, can you introduce yourself for those who don't know you ?
Hello! I'm doing good, thank you! My name is Gábor Hornyák but most people know me as AZTEX. I'm 25 years old and I'm from Hungary. I'm a protoss player playing for team GdA.
2- How long have you been playing Starcraft 2 ?
I start playing with StarCraft 2 10 years ago around 2012 at 15 years old. I played StarCraft 2 for 3 years 2012-2015 after that I was taking a bit break playing other game competitively and break from games. I came back around 2017 but that was a short come back because when my 1st year start at the university I had to stop playing the game. I came back in early 2021 and now we here.
3- A few days ago, you had the opportunity to participate in a Lan, a DreamHack, was this your first Lan on SC2 (or any others games)?
I was parcipitate on LAN before but they were "nothing" compared to this. DreamHack was my first professional tournament.
4- Was the trip complicated to get there ?
I think it was alright. I travel with my girlfriend we have to wait for our apparment a few hours in the streets that was a bit tiring. Everything else went as planned.
5- How did you feel when you arrived at DH ?
We were a little late compared what we planned because of the transport and opening hours but the problems went away when we arrived. Since I start playing with StarCraft 2 my dream was to play in DreamHack, so it was my dream coming true. I was so hyped and energized and smiling all the way in.
6- You had the opportunity to meet several pro players, how does that feel ?
It was so awesome see your herOes in person (see what I did there? ;)). I was a little concerned. Looking my left-right and seeing those players that I watch for years and cheer for.
7- Do you have any anecdotes about any of them ?
Rhizer was sit next to me (he is a cool guy btw) he was talking with uThermal, I also said hi to him, he (uThermal) was asking who I'm, I tell him I'm aztex and he asked again Who? I start laugh and they start laugh as well, he was tapping my shoulder and saying sorry, but the damage was already done. :laugh emoji:
8- Who is the nicest to approach ?
I was a bit shy to approach the pros first. In day 1 I only approach MeoMaika he is such a cool, straightforward guy, who always smiling. We both take a picture with eachother. In day 3 after the semi-final game I approach Creator as well, he is also a nice guy, we talk about the games, starcraft, football. Also we both agreed in zerg always win.
9- And the least?
Everyone was very nice, I regret that I didn't really get to talk to more people but maybe next time!
10- What does it feel like to attend an event of such magnitude as a spectator on site ?
Stunning. This was my first time watching a big StarCraft 2 event live, it was awesome, I was smiling all the way, enjoying the game with other spectators, cheer, clap everything.
11- What is the best memory you have of it ?
To be honest all in one. It was a pleasure to playing StarCraft 2 at DreamHack, talking with pros and watching the games in person. Also playing with koreans without a lag is so gooood. I was able to play a few customs with control.
12- For this tournament, you earned some EPT points, you are even 37th in the European ranking, so have you become a STAR now ?
Not yet, not yet! I'm so happy to having EPT points, now I wants to earn more. I hope I can get more in this 22/23 season.
13- A last word for the end ?
I would like to thank my team for their support and cheering and also my girlfriend who eagerly awaited the events despite the delay of several hours.

6- You had the opportunity to meet several pro players, how does that feel ?
It was so awesome see your herOes in person (see what I did there? ;)). I was a little concerned. Looking my left-right and seeing those players that I watch for years and cheer for.

I would like to thank my team for their support and cheering and also my girlfriend who eagerly awaited the events despite the delay of several hours.

6- You had the opportunity to meet several pro players, how does that feel ?
It was so awesome see your herOes in person (see what I did there? ;)). I was a little concerned. Looking my left-right and seeing those players that I watch for years and cheer for.

Hello! I'm doing good, thank you! My name is Gábor Hornyák but most people know me as AZTEX. I'm 25 years old and I'm from Hungary. I'm a protoss player playing for team GdA.
